The term 'One-of-a kind' is used so frequently in the sales terminology and can mean less that 100 or just a few...but when the Gallery of THUM uses the term we mean just that each piece is exclusive to itself. As we hunt down these products we look for artisans who only make one piece per style. This was we are really offering something no one else has. Plus we can be a bit more choosy about what we sell. Only the best items we see ever make it to our website or our store.
Currently we have four fantastic artisans:
Tim Phillips: Watercolor Pendants, Earrings and Bracelets. Tim paints watercolor paintings ranging in size from .5 inches to 2.5 inches across. He then turns them into lovely artistic pieces. Even though each is one of a kind he is interested in having lots of people wearing his pieces so he keeps them at an affordable price for just about anyone. Using findings that make fun and unusual additions to the focal point artwork, each are wearable for day or night. I know I own one, I could not help myself.
Annie Hague: Sterling Silver Rings - Wow, these you can march around your dressing table, take to a luncheon with the girls or guys and wallow in the attention they bring. Fantastic, some even futuristic these cocktail rings are to die for.
Marti O: Classical styled jewelry with unusual components. Swarovski is a focal point in most of the offerings by Marti and each can be worn at work, play, a wedding or with the perfect outfit that needs topping off with some classy bling.
Nienke: Deceptively simple in many of her pieces, she prefers to offer the more delicately worked necklace, earring or bracelet. But hers can be worn just because. She also offers the hand beat circles, and shapes neckace made from .999 silver. Each of these is painstakingly formed into rounds, squares or ovals and rests on the neck with great elegance.
So, if you want something no one else can own you can find them with us.
