Bracelets are often the last piece of jewelry women think of when they accessorize. However, usage among men has been on the rise as a fitting bracelet can stand out nicely.
There are several types of bracelets:
Bangles: Bangles have been popular for thousands of years and are usually made from gold but also come in plastic and beads.
Charm Bracelets: Charm bracelets are made from a wristband that holds individual charms hooked on to specific points in the band or loose using a round holder allowing the charm to move on the bracelet. Charms used usually have some form of personal meaning such as birthday, animal signs, etc.
Friendship bands: Also popular in younger age groups these bands are usually made from braided embroidery thread by one person and given as a token of friendship to another.
Leather bands: Leather bands come in many widths are worn by both men and women.
Message Bands: Usually made from rubber and signifying a cause. Many different colors and can wear more that one at a time. Popular mostly in teenage or early 20's age groups.
Tennis bracelets: Made famous by women's Tennis legend the tennis bracelet is usually made from in-line gem stones set in a precious metal such as gold, silver platinum or titanium.
